درباره‌ی کتاب information technology

کتاب Oxford English for Information Technology یکی از بهترین کتاب‌هایی است که در این زمینه نوشته شده و تمامی دانش‌جویان رشته‌های مرتبط با رایانه و حتی افرادی که به این حوزه علاقه‌مند هستند می‌توانند از این کتاب استفاده کنند. این کتاب از بیست و پنج درس تشکیل شده و از ابتدایی‌ترین مباحث مانند کاربران مختلف رایانه و هدف از استفاده از رایانه‌ها آغاز و تا مباحث پیش‌رفته و کاربردی مانند آینده فناوری اطلاعات را پوشش داده در این دروس پوشش داده است. این بیست و پنج درس هرکدام به پنج بخش تقسیم می‌شود که هر بخش پنج درس را پوشش داده و پنجمین درس هر بخش به مرور چهار درس پیشین پرداخته است.
با توجه به این که کتاب اینفورمیشن تکنولوژی در اصل یک کتاب آموزش زبان است مهارت‌های چهارگانه اصلی هر زبان یعنی مهارت خوانداری و درک مطلب (Reading)، مهارت شنیداری (Listening) ، مهارت نوشتاری (Writing) و مهارت مکالمه و برقرای ارتباط (Speaking) را کاملا پوشش داده اما در قالب مباحث مربوط به فناوری ارتباطات. این کتاب تماما رنگی است که این موضوع از خستگی افراد در حین مطالعه جلوگیری میکند. همچنین در این کتاب از تصاویر و اشکال مرتبط با هر مبحث به وفور بهره گرفته شده که این موضوع موجب می‌شود تا درک بهتر و عمیق‌تر صورت پذیرد. در پایان کتاب نیز لیستی از تمامی واژگان مهم و جدید کتاب به همراه معانی‌شان آورده شده که دسترسی به این موارد را راحت‌تر ساخته است.

We use the Present perfect to describe past actions with present relevance. The artist uses the Present perfect because he is describing a CD he has just made and what he is going to do with it in the near future. We use the Past simple to describe completed actions in the past. It is often used with time expressions such as last year, before PCs were introduced, in 1998. Note these examples from the recording: 7 I made one for Mary's birthday last week. 8 We tried it out last term.
