کتاب FCE Result توسط انتشارات آکسفورد و در جهت آمادگی و شرکت در این آزمون منتشر شده است. کتاب فوق، متشکل از دوازده درس می‌باشد. موضوعات این دروس با توجه به آزمون‌های پیشین و سطح کلی افراد تعیین شده‌اند. هر دست با بخشی به نام Lead in آغاز شده که متشکل از چندین تصویر و پرسش کلی می‌باشد و افراد با کلیات درس آشنا می‌سازد.

سپس بخش خوانداری (Reading) آورده شده. ابتدا پرسش‌های متن مطرح شده و سپس متن اصلی ارائه شده و لازم است افراد چندین بار این متن را مطالعه کنند و سپس به پرسش‌های متن پاسخ دهند.
در قسمت بعدی، واژگان (Vocabulary) و نکات دستور زبانی (Grammar) به‌کار رفته در متن برسی شده‌اند و پرسش و تمرینات متنوع، یادگیری این واژگان و قواعد را تحکیم کرده است.

سپس، نوبت به مهارت شنیداری می‌رسد و افراد باید با توجه به فایل صوتی، به پرسش‌های آن پاسخ دهند. مهارت گفتاری (Speaking)، در ادامه مهارت شنیداری آورده شده و سعی کرده خلاقیت و توانایی در مکالمه و پاسخ دادن را بهبود بخشد. سپس نوبت به بخش (Use of English) می‌رسد که به افراد کاربرد زبان انگلیسی در زندگی روزمره را نشان می‌دهد.

این بخش از اهمیت فوق‌العاده بالایی برخوردار بوده و حتی یکی از بخش‌های آزمون به همین بخش اختصاص داده شده است. پس از این بخش نیز مهارت نوشتاری (Writing) آموزش داده شده است. در بخش پایانی هر درس نیز، یک بخش مروری آورده شده که به یادآوری تمامی مطالب درس پرداخته است.
در کتاب تمرین این مجموعه، با افراد با انوع تمرینات و پرسش‌های متنوع مواجه می‌شوند که عمدتا به سبک پرسش‌های آزمون FCE طرح شده‌اند و پاسخ دادن به آن‌ها افراد را برای آزمون آماده می‌کنند.
